Modern Scent's Candles are hand-poured.
All our candles are made using Paraffin wax,
Paraffin wax has a stronger scent throw hot and cold than soy waxes.
We use the highest % of fragrance oil that we can maximally use for our wax, to ensure our candles are long-lasting and the scent will fill your room.

The key to the perfect candle is the perfect scent. Fragrances can emit cleanliness, freshness and softness. They can adjust our mood to enrich our lives. Our Candles have a wooden wick which provides a crackling effect while it burns to create a relaxing atmosphere. They can trigger forgotten memories, emotion and capture our imagination.

The following steps will ensure the safe + proper use of our candles:

*Never leave a burning candle unattended
*Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours at a time
*Burn a candle for a minimum of 2 hours or at least to a full melt pool
*Burn candles out of reach of children + pets
*Always leave at least 10 cm between burning candles
*Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire
*Do not place candles in a draught
*Trim wick to 5 mm before lighting
*Don’t burn a candle to the bottom. We recommend leaving 5 mm of wax in the container
*Always snuff out the candle. Do not blow out
*Keep the wax pool clear and devoid of matches and other debris to avoid flaring
*Protect your surfaces
*Do not touch the jars when hot
*Keep the lids on the jars when not in use
